TotalEnergies Marketing Egypt announces the sponsorship of the 11th edition of the Youth Centers League for the 2025–2026 season, marking the third consecutive year of its support for the initiative.
The company signed a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Youth and Sports for the league, which is held under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
Mutaz Nazzal, Managing Director of TotalEnergies Marketing Egypt, pointed out that the cooperation between the company and the Ministry reflects the integration between the public and private sectors in supporting Egypt’s sustainable development efforts.
TotalEnergies’ sponsorship of the Youth Centers League aligns with the company’s commitment to supporting youth and sports, encouraging active participation, and fostering a spirit of positive competition, said Nazzal, confirming the company’s readiness to continue supporting future sports and social initiatives and projects.
The announcement was celebrated with the presence of Egyptian football icons Ahmed Shobeir, Hossam Ghaly, Hazem Emam, and Mohamed Fadl, who will serve as ambassadors for the tournament.
As part of developing the tournament and encouraging teams and players to participate and excel, the organizing committee announced the allocation of a total cash prize for the four winning teams. Additionally, four trophies will be awarded to outstanding individual performers: Best Goalkeeper, Best Player, Top Scorer, and Man of the Match.
The tournament will feature 27 teams across the governorates, and a new mascot design will also be unveiled, aiming to modernize the tournament’s identity and add a distinctive touch to the event.
It is noteworthy that the TotalEnergies Youth Centers League is one of the most important sports projects launched by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in cooperation with the private sector. Over its previous editions, the league has contributed to producing many outstanding talents for clubs and national teams, while also instilling values of belonging and community participation among youth.
In 2024, the league saw significant growth, with the final match hosted at the Cairo International Stadium. It featured 27 teams from all governorates. It also introduced the league’s first official mascot, “Captain Taqa,” and awarded cash prizes and individual honors to top-performing players.
