Saudi Aramco’s international LNG ambitions gained traction this week through its indirect entry into the 14mn t/y LNG Canada Project, which started operations in July.
MidOcean Energy, in which Aramco has a 49% stake alongside private equity firm EIG, announced on 30 September that it is acquiring a 20% stake in Malaysian NOC Petronas’ key Canada holdings. This includes the North Montney LNG Limited Partnership (NMLLP) which holds a 25% stake in LNG Canada. (CONTINUED – 373 WORDS)
