Adnoc and SLB announced on 3 November during the Adipec conference in Abu Dhabi that they are deploying an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered Production System Optimization (AiPSO) platform across eight oil and gas fields in the emirate. Adnoc says that AiPSO uses millions of real-time data points, AI and Adnoc’s own proprietary machine learning. The operational results of Harbour Energy showed a growth and diversification in production, reaching 473,000 barrels of oil equivalent (boe/d) during the first nine months of 2025, compared to 177,000 boe/d in the same period of 2024.
