Burullus Gas Company has brought two new wells in the deepwater West Delta area of the Mediterranean onstream. The two wells have a total production of 60 million cubic feet per day (mcf/d) of natural gas, according to a statement by the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources. China’s Sinopec, one of the world’s largest state-owned energy and chemical companies, signed an agreement to to deliver engineering services for ACWA Power in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, supporting the development of what will be the world’s largest integrated green hydrogen and green ammonia facility in the country, Reuters reported. The project will harness wind and solar energy to produce about 400,000 metric tons of green hydrogen and 2.8 million tons of green ammonia each year. Abu Qir Fertilizers and Chemical Industries posted a 31% decline in its net profit for the fiscal year ending in June 2025 compared to the previous year to settle at EGP 9.34 million, according to a statement sent by the company to the Egyptian stock exchange. ADNOC inked a 15-year Sales and Purchase Agreement (SPA) agreement with the Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IndianOil), India’s leading integrated energy player, to deliver 1 million tons of liquefied natural gas (LNG) annually, mainly from ADNOC’s lower-carbon Ruwais LNG project. According to the agreement, LNG shipments will be delivered to ports across India, helping to meet the nation’s rising energy demand while strengthening its energy security. As Bahrain enters the final weeks of the sweltering summer season, the island kingdom is wrapping up its first ever summer of LNG imports.
