Iran’s First Vice President, Mohammadreza Aref, announced the country’s readiness to export petrochemicals to Africa in support of the continent’s industrial growth.
He said this during his speech at the third Iran-Africa Economic Cooperation Conference, where he highlighted Africa’s position as a strategic partner in the new global power structure.
Aref emphasized Iran’s readiness to transfer its expertise, technology, and capital to Africa’s mining and mineral industries, aiming to unlock greater value from the continent’s “golden soils.”
He stated that Iran is ready to collaborate with Africa as a strategic partner in establishing clean energy and regional electricity networks.
He further expressed readiness for technological cooperation and knowledge transfer in other fields.
