Egyptian gas production fell by 3% quarter-on-quarter and 7% year-on-year to 3.86bn cfd in Q2, according to the latest Ministry of Petroleum data, extending the country’s prolonged output decline (see chart). Production averaged just 3.82bn cfd in June, down around 300mn cfd year-on-year.
