The Norwegian Offshore Directorate is implementing a new organisation.
“The Directorate’s mandate has expanded over time, our surroundings are always changing, and we need to address new challenges on the Norwegian continental shelf (NCS). We also need to be more efficient,” says Director general Torgeir Stordal regarding the basis for the organisational change.
“We’re undergoing an extensive digital transformation, and we rely on the ability to attract skilled employees and remain an attractive workplace.”
Organisation chart as of 1 April 2025.
The Directorate has had a team-based organisation for the last 20 years. We’re now introducing a function-based structure with 4 main areas, 14 (sub) areas and 2 staffs.
Moving forward, the Directorate will be recruiting managers for positions that still lack permanent appointments. We are also regularly recruiting new technical employees.
