QatarEnergy signed a Terms of Reference (TOR) with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) on 5 July to encourage new industrial development in Mesaieed Industrial City (MIC), the country’s second major industrial center.
“Through this agreement, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry will lead efforts to attract industrial investments, connect with investors, and coordinate the industrial ecosystem, while QatarEnergy will provide technical and commercial expertise related to resource allocation and utilization,” Minister of Commerce and Industry Faisal bin Thani Al Thani said.
